South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK), 8-1 in a league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dimond for a Cook Inlet challenge on Wednesday, May 8. South Anchorage will battle a Lynx squad coming off a 10-2 league win over West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, West Anchorage falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to battle the Lynx in a Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, May 7.
