The Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) baseball trounced the host Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH), 7-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Shermans now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Zane Trace for a Scioto Valley challenge on Thursday, May 8. Unioto will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 7-1 league win over Westfall (Williamsport, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 14-3.
With the defeat, Adena drops to 4-10 on the year. The Warriors host Piketon (Piketon, OH) to clash with the Redstreaks in a Scioto Valley challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Redstreaks go into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Piketon won 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH)
