Illinois High School Baseball - Taft defeats Amundsen

May 7, 2025: Chicago, IL 60631

In Wednesday's league game, the host Taft Eagles baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the Amundsen Vikings.

The Eagles (15-14) will now prepare for their game against Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 17-9 record. In their last game, Reavis nudged Shepard (Palos Heights, IL), 12-0, in a league game.

Next, the Vikings play the Fasman Yeshiva (Skokie, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 9. Amundsen will attempt to improve on its 6-19 season record. The go into the game with a 6-1 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL).
