The McQuaid Jesuit Knights baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Aquinas Institute Little Irish to 1 in the Knights non-league win on Wednesday.

The Knights now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orchard Park for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. McQuaid Jesuit will clash with a Quakers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Jamestown (Jamestown, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Aquinas Institute drops to 6-5 on the year. The Little irish host Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY) to clash with the Kings in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Kings go into the test with a record of 3-5. Bishop Kearney lost 9-5 in their recent league game against Finney (Penfield, NY)
