In Wednesday's league bout, the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) baseball squad the visiting Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT), by a tally of 6-4.
Next up, the Beavers encounter the Kent School Lions (Kent, CT) in a Founders bout, on Saturday, May 10. Avon Old Farms will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 0-12 record after their 9-1 league loss to Taft School (Watertown, CT).
The Wild Boars (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY). The Pride enter the Founders bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, Trinity-Pawling School edged Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT), 6-0, in a league bout.
