The Big Walnut Golden Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Dublin Scioto Irish to 0 in the Golden Eagles league win on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westland for a Ohio Capital - Capital test on Friday, May 9. Big Walnut will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Hayes (Delaware, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
With the defeat, Dublin Scioto drops to 4-8 on the year. The Irish travel to Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 3-13. Licking Heights won 10-7 in their recent league test against Northridge (Johnstown, OH)
