The Southampton Indians triumphed over the host Brunswick Bulldogs baseball squad by a score of 7-0 in Wednesday's league outing.
Next up, the Indians battle the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) in a Tri-Rivers outing, on Thursday, May 8. Southampton will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 9-2 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Hopewell (Hopewell, VA).
The Bulldogs (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes come into the Tri-Rivers outing with a 11-5 record.
