The Chipps (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Coventry (Akron, OH). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 3-14 record. In their last game, Coventry was tipped by Springfield (Akron, OH), 7-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers (Strasburg, OH) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 8. Dalton will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 10-9 record after their 1-0 league win over Malvern (Malvern, OH).
