Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Girard holds off Conneaut Area

In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Girard Yellowjackets baseball team scored a close 8-4 win over the Conneaut Area Eagles.

The Yellowjackets (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 11-1 record. In their last game, Greenville nudged Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 17-3, in a league game.

Next, the Eagles play the Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 game, on Thursday, May 8. Conneaut Area will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 3-11 record after their 7-0 league loss to Corry (Corry, PA).
