The West Anchorage Eagles baseball squad (Anchorage, AK), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK)

With the triumph, Eagle River moves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Wolves host Service (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Cougars in a Cook Inlet contest on Friday, May 9. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 11-0. Service won 15-3 in their recent non-league contest against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)

The Eagles now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dimond for a Cook Inlet contest on Saturday, May 10. West Anchorage will confront a Lynx squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 2-3.
