The Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) baseball trounced the visiting Marquette Sentinels (Marquette, MI), 20-10 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Eskymos now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Menominee for a Great Northern U.P. challenge on Thursday, May 8. Escanaba will clash with a Maroons team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Gladstone (Gladstone, MI). The Maroons record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, Marquette drops to 7-3 on the year. The Sentinels travel to Calumet (Calumet, MI) to clash with the Copper Kings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Copper Kings go into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
