The Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) baseball got by the visiting Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 26-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Franklin County will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 30-6.
With the defeat, Stephens County drops to 23-11 on the year.
