The Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA) baseball trounced the visiting Mapletown Maples (Greensboro, PA), 15-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Centurions now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverview for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. Greensburg Central Catholic will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 13-5.

With the defeat, Mapletown drops to 2-13 on the year. The Maples host Monessen (Monessen, PA) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. The Greyhounds go into the challenge with a record of 2-15. Monessen won 8-7 in their recent league challenge against Clairton (Clairton, PA)
