The Westland Cougars baseball squad (Galloway, OH), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Hayes Pacers (Delaware, OH)
With the triumph, Hayes moves its record to 10-8 on the season. The Pacers host Marion Harding (Marion, OH) to confront the Presidents in a non-league contest on Friday, May 9. The Presidents come into the contest with a record of 8-4.
The Cougars now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Big Walnut for a Ohio Capital - Capital contest on Thursday, May 8. Westland will confront a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-4.
