The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ) and the visiting High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ), saw Phillipsburg's baseball team gain a win over High Point by a tally of 4-1.
The Stateliners (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ). The Marauders enter the non-league battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Mount Olive held off Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ), 8-7, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats face the Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ) in a NJAC - Freedom battle, on Wednesday, May 7. High Point will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
