The Hubbard Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Struthers Wildcats to 0 in the Eagles league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poland Seminary for a Northeast 8 Athletic test on Thursday, May 8. Hubbard will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 league win over McKinley (Niles, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-2.

With the defeat, Struthers drops to 7-13 on the year. The Wildcats travel to South Range (Canfield, OH) to play the Raiders in a Northeast 8 Athletic test on Thursday, May 8. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 8-5. South Range won 4-2 in their recent league test against Girard (Girard, OH)
