Massachusetts High School Baseball - Lawrence holds off Tewksbury Memorial

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Lawrence Lancers baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen.
The Lancers (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Lowell (Lowell, MA). The Red Raiders go into the Merrimack Valley 1 game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Lowell was overwhelmed by Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Redmen play the Methuen Rangers (Methuen, MA) in a Merrimack Valley 2 game, on Saturday, May 10. Tewksbury Memorial will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Rangers go into the game with a 5-8 record after their 14-0 league loss to Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA).
