The Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY) baseball trounced the host Lockport Lions (Lockport, NY), 17-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Island for a NFL challenge on Friday, May 9. Niagara Falls will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Sweet Home (Amherst, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 7-3.

With the defeat, Lockport drops to 7-2 on the year. The Lions host Kenmore West (Buffalo, NY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a NFL challenge on Friday, May 9. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Kenmore West won 10-4 in their recent league outing against Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY)
