The Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA) baseball trounced the visiting Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA), 10-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Friars now own a 23-5 record. They take the field next when they host Springside Chestnut Hill Academy for a PAISAA challenge on Friday, May 9. Malvern Prep will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 8-6 league win over Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Shipley drops to 11-6 on the year.
