The Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) baseball trounced the visiting Moorefield Yellow Jackets (Moorefield, WV), 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Applemen now own a 14-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington for a Eastern Panhandle challenge on Monday, May 12. Musselman will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 14-9.
With the defeat, Moorefield drops to 4-18 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to Elkins (Elkins, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 6-18.
