The Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA), 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Gladiators now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Staunton for a Shenandoah challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Riverheads will clash with a Storm team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Storm record now stands at 3-10.

With the defeat, Stonewall Jackson drops to 2-14 on the year. The Generals travel to Madison County (Madison, VA) to battle the Mountaineers in a Bull Run outing on Friday, May 9. The Mountaineers come into the outing with a record of 7-9. Madison County lost 9-7 in their recent league outing against Luray (Luray, VA)
