In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Northeast Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Academy at Palumbo Griffin.

The Vikings (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas A. Edison (Philadelphia, PA). The Owls come into the PPL - Independence challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Thomas A. Edison beat George Washington (Philadelphia, PA), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Griffin now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a PPL - Independence battle on Friday, May 9.
