The Triad Knights baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Mascoutah Indians to 1 in the Knights non-league win on Wednesday.
The Knights now hold a 16-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belleville East for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. Triad will play a Lancers team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 5-9.
With the defeat, Mascoutah drops to 1-5 on the year. The Indians host Collinsville (Collinsville, IL) to play the Kahoks in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Kahoks go into the test with a record of 0-4.
