Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Conklin, NY) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Binghamton, NY), 27-18 in a league battle.

With the win, Susquehanna Valley improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Sabers travel to Norwich (Norwich, NY) to play the Purple Tornado in a battle on Friday, May 9. The Purple Tornado go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Norwich lost 33-24 in their recent league battle against Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY)

The Blue Devils now have a 0-2 record.
