Fans at Wednesday's league test between the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) and the visiting Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), witnessed Prout's lacrosse squad top Chariho by a count of 18-5.

The Crusaders (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles enter the Division 1 test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Barrington was overwhelmed by Lincoln School (Providence, RI), 15-13, in a non-league test.

Next, the Chargers battle the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) in a Division 2 test, on Friday, May 9. Chariho will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Broncos enter the test with a 5-3 record after their 10-9 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI).
