The Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA), 10-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Cavaliers now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Appomattox County for a Dogwood challenge on Friday, May 9. Chatham will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Altavista moves to 4-8 on the year. The Colonels travel to Nelson County (Lovingston, VA) to encounter the Governors in a Dogwood challenge on Monday, May 12. The Governors go into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Nelson County won 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Galileo (Danville, VA)
