The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) and the host Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA), saw Jefferson Forest's baseball team gain a win over Brookville by a tally of 7-0.
The Cavaliers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Halifax County held off George Washington (Danville, VA), 19-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bees face the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 9. Brookville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Glass (Lynchburg, VA).
