The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH) and the visiting Coventry Comets (Akron, OH), saw Springfield's baseball team beat Coventry by a margin of 11-1.

The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Black Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Cuyahoga Falls defeated Firestone (Akron, OH), 14-4, in a non-league battle.
