The Galax Maroon Tide baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Narrows Green Waves to 0 in the Maroon Tide non-league win on Wednesday.

The Maroon Tide now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grayson County for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. Galax will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-9.

With the defeat, Narrows drops to 0-8 on the year. The Green waves host Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 2-8. Bath County won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Pendleton County (Franklin, WV)
