The Silver Creek Black Knights baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Gowanda Panthers to 3 in the Black Knights non-league win on Wednesday.

The Black Knights now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunkirk for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Silver Creek will play a Marauders team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Southwestern (Jamestown, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Gowanda drops to 1-3 on the year. The Panthers host Frewsburg (Frewsburg, NY) to play the Bears in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Bears go into the test with a record of 3-3.
