In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Taylor Griffins baseball team scored a close 12-5 win over the Roosevelt Bears.
The Griffins (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 0-16 record. In their last game, Roosevelt was overwhelmed by Taylor (Taylor, MI), 12-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bears play the Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 8. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Railsplitters go into the game with a 3-8 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to Anderson (Southgate, MI).
