In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Andrew Thunderbolts lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 triumph over the Lyons Lions.

The Thunderbolts (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Hinsdale Central was tipped by York (Elmhurst, IL), 8-5, in a league battle.

The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheaton-Warrenville South for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. Lyons will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 4-3 league win over Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.
