The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) and the visiting Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA), observed James Buchanan's softball team prevail over Waynesboro by a tally of 22-8.

The Rockets (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA). The Bubblers go into the non-league bout with a 0-12 record. In their last bout, Boiling Springs was routed by Big Spring (Newville, PA), 16-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. Waynesboro will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Northern York (Dillsburg, PA).
