West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), 16-12 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, West Potomac upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Wolverines host Robinson (Fairfax, VA) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. The Rams enter the game with a record of 7-7. Robinson lost 9-2 in their recent non-league game against West Springfield (Springfield, VA)

The Bruins now own a 4-9 record.
