In Wednesday's league challenge, the host South Portland Red Riots lacrosse squad scored a good 17-8 triumph over the Portland Bulldogs.
The Red Riots (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Brunswick knocked off Hampden (Hampden, ME), 24-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 10. Portland will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 11-7 non-league win over Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME).
