In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Allentown Redbirds softball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Matawan Regional Huskies.
The Redbirds (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 8-7 record.
In their next game, the Huskies battle the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, May 7. Matawan Regional will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record.
