Illinois High School Softball - Homewood-Flossmoor succumbs to Andrew

May 7, 2025: Flossmoor, IL 60422

In Wednesday's league test, the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL), by a tally of 12-2.

Next, the Thunderbolts clash with the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban test, on Friday, May 9. Andrew will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 9-14 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Lyons (LaGrange, IL).

The Vikings (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights go into the SouthWest Suburban test with a 20-1 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Way Central prevailed over Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 7-6, in a league test.
