The Poland Seminary Bulldogs softball squad (Poland, OH), was routed 14-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH)

With the triumph, Boardman improves its record to 17-3 on the year. The Spartans host Canfield (Canfield, OH) to face the Cardinals in a All-American contest on Friday, May 9. The Cardinals enter the contest with a record of 15-2. Canfield won 5-4 in their recent league contest against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH)

The Bulldogs now hold a 11-8 record. They play next when they host South Range for a Northeast Eight Athletic contest on Thursday, May 8. Poland Seminary will face a Raiders squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Lakeview (Cortland, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 13-8.
