The Broadway Gobblers softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Wilson Memorial Green Hornets to 0 in the Gobblers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Gobblers now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turner Ashby for a Valley battle on Friday, May 9. Broadway will confront a Knights team coming off a 15-2 league win over Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Knights record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Wilson Memorial moves to 6-10 on the season. The Green hornets host Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to confront the Bison in a Shenandoah battle on Friday, May 9. The Bison come into the battle with a record of 11-5. Buffalo Gap won 11-0 in their recent non-league battle against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA)
