Ohio High School Softball - Union Local bounces Buckeye Local

The Union Local Jets softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Buckeye Local Panthers to 5 in the Jets non-league win on Wednesday.

The Jets now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic Central for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Union Local will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Buckeye Local moves to 13-12 on the season. The Panthers host Toronto (Toronto, OH) to confront the Red Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. The Red Knights come into the battle with a record of 8-10. Toronto lost 16-3 in their recent non-league battle against Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH)
