In Wednesday's league match, the host Henry County Wildcats softball team scored a tight 3-0 win over the Carroll County Panthers.

The Wildcats (15-7) will now prepare for their match against Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 31 match with a 14-11 record. In their last match, Gallatin County was routed by Henry County (New Castle, KY), 18-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Eminence Warriors (Eminence, KY) in a District 31 match, on Thursday, May 8. Carroll County will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 0-19 record after their 19-3 non-league loss to Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY).
