The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Catholic Crusaders to 0 in the Saints non-league win on Wednesday.

The Saints now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peninsula Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will confront a Knights team coming off a 16-8 non-league win over Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Catholic moves to 5-9 on the season.
