The Fairview Tigers softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Conneaut Area Eagles to 2 in the Tigers league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Girard for a District 10 Region 3 battle on Thursday, May 8. Fairview will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 11-1 league loss to North East (North East, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Conneaut Area moves to 0-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Corry (Corry, PA) to confront the Beavers in a District 10 Region 3 battle on Thursday, May 8. The Beavers come into the battle with a record of 8-3. Corry won 20-4 in their recent league battle against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA)
