California High School Softball - El Primero bounces Summit Shasta

May 7, 2025: San Jose, CA 95110

The El Primero Lobos softball team scored 22 runs and held the visiting Summit Shasta Black Bears to 18 in the Lobos league win on Wednesday.

The Lobos now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Latino College Preparatory Academy for a PSAL battle on Friday, May 9. El Primero will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 24-8 league win over KIPP San Jose Collegiate (San Jose, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Summit Shasta moves to 5-3 on the season. The Black bears travel to Design Tech (Redwood City, CA) to confront the Dragons in a PSAL battle on Wednesday, May 14. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 11-6. Design Tech won 16-1 in their recent league battle against Luis Valdez Leadership Academy (San Jose, CA)
