The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) and the host Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), observed West Chicago's softball team get by Glenbard South by a tally of 1-0.

The Wildcats (15-9) will now prepare for their bout against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres go into the Upstate Eight bout with a 1-15 record. In their last bout, Streamwood was nipped by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 13-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Thursday, May 8. Glenbard South will attempt to advance on its 8-14 season record.
