Delaware High School Softball - Padua Academy edges Indian River

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE) and the visiting Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), observed Padua Academy's softball team get by Indian River by a tally of 2-0.
The (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Newark Charter School (Newark, DE). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 4-8 record.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Early College Hornets (Dover, DE) in a Henlopen South bout, on Thursday, May 8. Indian River will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 2-0 league loss to Seaford (Seaford, DE).
