The Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals (Johannesburg, MI) softball routed the host Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI), 7-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Cardinals now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mancelona for a Ski-Valley match on Monday, May 12.

In their next game, the Hurons confront the Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) in a North Star match, on Thursday, May 8. Rogers City will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Owls come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI).
