The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME) and the host Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME), observed Monmouth Academy's softball team prevail over Madison by a tally of 19-0.

The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Hawks go into the Class C South bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Sacopee Valley was routed by North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME), 15-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) in a Class C South bout, on Monday, May 12. Madison will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Phoenix go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 20-3 league loss to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME).
