California High School Softball - Santa Clara bounces Monta Vista

May 7, 2025: Cupertino, CA 95014

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Santa Clara Bruins softball team scored a nice 19-1 win over the Monta Vista Matadors.

The Bruins (10-10) will now prepare for their match against Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Falcons come into the El Camino match with a 16-2 record. In their last match, Saratoga notched a victory over Lynbrook (San Jose, CA), 16-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Matadors battle the Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) in a El Camino match, on Friday, May 9. Monta Vista will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Pioneers come into the match with a 11-8 record after their 12-2 league win over Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA).
