The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) and the visiting Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT), observed North Branford's softball team notch a victory over Morgan by a tally of 20-1.

The Thunderbirds (12-0) will now prepare for their bout against Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Warriors go into the Shoreline - Large bout with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, Valley Regional was routed by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 2-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the East Hampton Bellringers (East Hampton, CT) in a Shoreline - Large bout, on Friday, May 9. Morgan will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Bellringers go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 6-4 league loss to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT).
